    Dark Souls - Connectivity problem


    Greetings to everyone!

    Today, i downloaded new update for Xbox 360 and for some reason, my Dark Souls won't go ONLINE. 3-4 days ago, when i played last time, i didn't have any problem. Can anyone help me how to solve this? Thanks for your help!

    How is summoning after the patch?

    I guess the connectivity issue is still a problem since the games still doesn't have dedicated servers like Demon Souls.

    .

    Im afraid this game will have those issues until there is dedicated servers.

    .

    If FROM SOFTWARE would have shut down the demons souls servers like they were going to do in the first place and use those server for Dark Souls, we wouldn't have this problem, but then they changed their minds and decided to keep Demon Souls servers running
    so now the Dark Souls players are surffering for it.

    Dark Souls vs Dark Souls two

    I've played all three of them and, while the brilliant Dark Souls world connectivity isn't there, I find Dark Souls 2 to be the most fun of the three. The forced PVP is what makes the game so great and they've improved on most of the mechanics in Dark Souls
    2 - some steps backward but mostly for the better. Can't wait for Bloodborne and the Ivory King DLC.

    You need to be a gold xbox live member to play online.

    So how come i could play online for 3 days and now i can't ? Dark Souls - Connectivity problem :)

    My guess is you either had a gold membership 3 or 4 days ago that is now expired or there was a free gold weekend.

    1) I have never bought Gold membership - that won't be an issue

    2) I bought DS on 22nd March and i could play through that week after Saturday

    Well, if you say that Gold Membership is needed to play DS at online mode, i think it doesn't matter...and it is solved Dark Souls - Connectivity problem :)

    When trying to update a game I get status code 4174 - 0000 - d080 - 0200 - 8007 - 0570

    Having the exact same issue and status code with Dark Souls 2 update. Updating Dark Souls One worked, no problems. Have tried everything mentioned in original post. I am using a wireless connection, but connecting to wired doesn't resolve issue.
