Never received promo code for Dark Souls 1 after preordering Dark Souls 3

I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 and never received my code for Dark Souls 1.

When did you purchase Dark Souls 3? Keep in mind that it takes 7-10 days for the codes to deliver. Once 10 days pass and you don't receive your Dark Souls code, post back here to let us know!

 

I ordered it on 3/20/16, however I spoke to a customer service rep and they told me to post here and have the process expedited since I assumed that the code would be sent immediately when it was made available for backward compatibility.

Sorry to hear about the misinformation, you should receive your Dark Souls code 7-10 days after your purchase (which will be 3/30/16 in your scenario). This process can not be expedited.

If you don't get your codes after waiting 10 days, please go ahead and post back here letting us know. so we can assist further.

 

Can I cancel the preorder then? The whole point of it was being able to play when it was backward compatible.

 

You would have to contact support again and they can cancel the order for you.

 

Hey, derrickb75! You'll still be able to play Dark Souls 1 on back compat, you have to wait for it to be sent to you, though. However, if you would like to cancel your pre-order, then you will need to contact support as Smwutches said.
