Dark Souls Co-op Not Working?

So a couple days ago I downloaded Dark Souls from the Xbox Store as it's free for these couple weeks.

And after I arrived at the Firelink Shrine and the Undead Bourg, I realized that there's no co-op ability. Even though I have connection to the internet and live, I see no bloodstains for other characters, or summons/messages from other characters. Is it
just me, or is that happening for everyone else?

Plus, I'm not sure if that's something Xbox has to deal with, or a problem from the Dark Souls team to handle.

Demon Souls vs Dark Souls my opinion....

It's not a 360 vs. PS3 thing, Namco *** up the servers because, well, it's Namco. It's the same for both versions of the game.

imaving the same exact problem plus i dont get souls for killing ghoasts and a fe other things barely getting any humanity and the bottomless box is not where it is should when the free version be getting the update

 

No idea, i'm kind of holding off from playing the game now untill the issue is fixed but hopefully something will be announced this week. Since this is the last week that it's free to download.

 

I really hope it does get fixed, I really don't want to spend the time on the phone with customer support trying to get money credited back to my account because I bought the dlc which doesn't work currently.
