Dark Souls cheaters think they have a right to cheat? And even be disrespectful about it ...

"idc it's an old game" is what he said in a message to me. That is the absolutely worst excuse to give someone to cheat in a game. So what if Dark Souls is an old game? It's still a perfectly good game and many people still play and in fact some even prefer
it over Dark Souls 2. This is the exact same thing that happened to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. So many people still love Call of Duty 4 and consider it to be the best in the series. This is only an example, there are numerous other games that are in
the same situation.

Anyone interested in starting a Xbox 360 Dark Souls community site?

Thinking of setting up a Dark Souls community site. Forums with guides etc for quick navigation and discussion in one place for Xbox 360 gamers. Anyone interested in helping me set it up? I have a basic forum structure set up already. Need to design a Dark
Souls themed banner and set up some forum sections related to Dark Souls. Also would like a portal. I think if set up and run right it could be a good asset to the Xbox 360 Dark Souls community.

Dark souls update not downloading

So, as it turns out they have shutdown dark souls 2 servers for maintenance, started right at the time I inserted my game , so it may be nothing to do with Microsoft and everything to do with dark souls servers

 

It is a really annoying issue to counter modders I bought multiple wrath of the gods to send them off the map.

 

Unfortunately that opportunity doesn't come very often for me. I just run to the boss fog and enter it so the invader gets sent home.

 

I've found that force works better than WoG for sending hackers over the cliff, plus you get a lot more casts, so you have more chances.

 

^ Curious as to why you think it's better? I ask because that's one of the miracles I'm lacking (found out a little late that I had to buy from her before Petrus goes all Corleone on h?er -_- ). Aside from the # of casts, does it cast faster, or larger AoE?

 

Oh, and sorry 'bout going off topic =P How was he cheating? Fortunately, I've yet to be invaded by any hacked peeps (as far as I know =/ ). Just wondering what to watch out for, lest some modded corrupt my char save..

 

I like it better because it seems to be better at breaking poise and knocking people back than WoG. Plus, since the person has probably hacked infinite health, you're not worried about doing damage.

 

^Ah, indeed. Just got into NG + today and picked up WoG; not bad, not bad at all.

Causing me some indecision when attuning at the bonfire though. -_- ... hmm need more attunement slots, but already using one DS ring - don't wanna give up the other one - So, I guess there's leveling up!... oh, but I'm already 120 and I don't want to mess
up my co-op range..... I'm telling you, it's a mess up in here xD

 

With darksouls being an old game, it is a modders playground. They mod because they suck at the game, or they are just jerks. Gravity always kills them. In darksouls 2, they can survive most falls. Just let them chase you up a ladder or by a cliff. Kick
em' or use wrath of the gods. Always kills them. Well, in darksouls they die. Good luck!
