Dark Souls BC code still not received

Just spoke with Cathleen on support, and was instructed to make a post here. I purchased Dark Souls 3 nearly 2 weeks ago, and still have not gotten my code for the original Dark Souls....

I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 on 2/19 and I still have not received the code for Dark Souls.

 

There was a large thread devoted to this issue, which was locked by an Admin earlier today. The official answer in a nutshell was "wait longer, and if you still don't get it, make another thread on the forums". Terrible customer service.

 

i heard that the code does not come out till 7 to 10 days after the release of darksouls 3. I think we have been duped! not cool.

Just spoke with Kevin on support and here's my post. I've talked to mulitple ppl there. They even had me call bandai namco. I'm losing faith. This is my 3rd post on the same issue. For the first time however, I do feel like Kevin trying hard to help me out.

The issue from Microsofts perspective is that dark souls 1 is becoming backwards compatible for us only, ahead of time. Everyone else who didn't preorder thru xbox will still be waiting for its release date, while us preorderers will already be playing.
I don't know if they have done this before, i.e. exclusive pre-release of backwards compatibility but it's evidently pretty flawed. Hopefully the engineers figure it out soon! If everyone throws on thier name engraved ring to Caffrey maybe our luck will change!!
