    Is this still a thing or no? Pre-ordered on the 16th of Feb thinking I would get to play at least for a bit before the sequel came out, looking to be a no.

    Dark Souls Code not received

    I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 with promotion for the free backwards compatible Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 is great but have not received code to download Dark Souls.

    Dark Souls backwards compatibility?

    They've had some issues sending out the codes, but support should be able to get it to you. Although the game has not been made backwards compatible yet, but it will be.

    Hey there,

    There is nothing we can share at this time as far as when Dark Souls will be backwards compatible, but your free copy of Dark Souls is playable on Xbox 360.
