Dark Souls 360 Disc not Recognized by Xbox One

Hi All,

The title says it all really. I put the disc in and I get a message telling me that it isn't a Xbox one disc. Does anyone know why?

The Dark Souls codes you get for pre-ordering Dark Souls III on Xbox One have not sent out yet. Since codes have not gone out yet, please make a new post if you don't receive your Dark Souls for Xbox 360 code by the end of Friday, Mar. 4th.

i had that problem with Red Dead and even though the disc didn't look that bad I put it in my resurfacer then it worked.

Try restarting your system. Hold down your xbox button on your console for 10 sec. It refreshes the back compatible list. Worked for me. Good luck

This error is usually caused by the disc not being readable by the console. Since the Xbox One uses a different type of Disc reader than the Xbox 360, it can be a bit more sensitive to scratches and smudges. You can clean you disc with these steps. Care
for your console and disc games.

You might also want to try to power cycle your console, there may be an update that needs to happen before you can install the game.
