    Dark Souls 3 unable to connect to servers


    Dark Souls 3 wasn’t in the list of games to choose from to post about, but I’ve been having connectivity issues for the past week. I haven’t been to log into the servers at all and it’s been extremely frustrating <Dark Souls 3 unable to connect to servers :(. I’ve looked online at service outages
    and it looks like this has been an issue for a lot of other people since the last Xbox update on 4/24/18. It would be amazing if you guys could look into this and figure out what’s causing the connection issues with this game as it is one of the only ways
    that my fiance are able to get together and out as we live long distance at the moment. Thank you guys for looking into this.

    Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 not connecting to game servers

    Since at least April 20, 2018, when starting up Dark Souls 2, I've been unable to connect to the game's servers on the Xbox One. Just attempted Dark Souls 3, also unable to connect to game servers. The issue appears to be something with the connection between
    Bandai and Microsoft as both games connect normally for me on the PS4. Didn't see any other reports of this, so figured I'd share.

    Dark Souls 3 Server Issues

    I realise intermittent server issues are common to the dark souls series. However, currently it is worse than ever. This is server-side as many others report similar issues to other sites. I have a solid 100mbps connection with open NAT and no issues with
    any other games or live services. Completely unable to join Dark Souls 3 servers, receiving the message "Failed to log in to the DARK SOULS 3 game server.". Wouldn't ordinarily complain but the issue has become more rampant than ever and appears to no longer
    have a workaround.

    I guess the connectivity issue is still a problem since the games still doesn't have dedicated servers like Demon Souls.

    .

    Im afraid this game will have those issues until there is dedicated servers.

    If FROM SOFTWARE would have shut down the demons souls servers like they were going to do in the first place and use those server for Dark Souls, we wouldn't have this problem, but then they changed their minds and decided to keep Demon Souls servers running
    so now the Dark Souls players are surffering for it.

    From Software has nothing to do with the servers in Demon Souls. ATLUS is the one running those servers for Demon Souls. The only way Dark Souls can get dedicated servers is if Namco Bandai do this for us and I dont think that would happen.

    That's strange, RottoDrinks! Thanks for letting us know.

    Can you reply with a picture of any specific error messages you're seeing, and what you see on the console under Settings>Network>Detailed Network Statistics, please? Are you using a wired or wireless connection for the console?

    Also, do you see any issue connecting in any other games on the Xbox One console, besides Dark Souls titles?

    Dark souls update not downloading

    So, as it turns out they have shutdown dark souls 2 servers for maintenance, started right at the time I inserted my game :(, so it may be nothing to do with Microsoft and everything to do with dark souls servers
