Dark Souls 3 Pre-order - Never received the code for DS1

Gettin kinda peeved as well MS. Been a loyal customer for years and you just keep disappointing. This is the kinda stuff that people like Angry Joe are talking about and that we need to put a stop to. False advertising BS.

 

UPDATE 04/03/2016

I just received the code but seems the game is not available for XC just yet.

 

MTA: The codes are being sent out today, so everyone should be getting them very soon.

Its also worth noting, that the backwards compatible game Dark Souls is not actually available yet anyway, as stated on the Dark Souls 3 page

@DENAz666, that is either a blatant lie, or you need to check your sources.

1.) The link you provided is broken.

2.) It does not say get Dark Souls on 360, nor does it say playable on the One "at a later date."

Not sure who exactly is at fault here, but it needs to be made known, and an apology needs to be made. Many people were wrongly encouraged to pre-order this game, and this is not right. Fix it.

 

I love how he said the codes were being sent on the 4th and here it is the 5th and still no code. Not trying to be a jerk but......... yeah.

 

Oh and @TubBYxCusTarD is right, your link goes nowhere and it does not say that on the page sooooooo....... wtf man

 

Havent recieved my code either purchased feb 19, called was told to post did and nothing so posting again

 

Still no code. Makes no sense. I would have never pre-ordered from Xbox market if their not sending code before the release of 3

I received my code a couple of days ago and after redeem I receive the following message: As soon as we make the game available through backward compatibility, you will be able to play it.

Enough with the whining. We all know that pre-orders are always a trap, even so we decided to go for it.

Unless any of you are willing to make out of this a class action, let's just leave as it is, learn from our mistake and move on.

 

It has been well over the 7 to 10 business days. I have yet to receive my code. It may not be BC yet but it is a purchase. "The code for Dark Souls will be delivered to you Xbox message center in 7-10 days." I'd like my code.

 

@Felipe Mahdox, Agreed, preorders are a trap and we need to learn from the past. But that's no excuse for how this issue is being handled. I was told by Support to create a post on these forums. I followed directions and created a very civil post, documenting
my purchase and other relevant information, and in less than 24 hours it was deleted.

On top of that, the description of the pre-order made a very specific promise, encouraging potential customers to pre-order this game. Dark Souls 1 for free, playable on Xbox One! Not only is there insane amounts of nostalgia, but it's something to do
while we wait for Dark Souls 3. It was an incredible idea, and a very generous offer. However, they did not keep their promise, and caused many people to drop $60-$90 two months in advance, and were lied to. This is not something you brush under the rug,
shrug, and say, "Well, we learned our lesson." Obviously a lawsuit doesn't seem likely, but we can't just lift up our skirts and let large companies have their way with us.
