Dark Souls 2 Version 1.03/Calibration 1.04 patch notes

Calibrations 1.04 notes:

• Changed the “heavy” throwing animation for Corrosive Urns. Reduced corrosive damage to items when hit.
  
• Increase in durability on Twin Blade Weapon / Decreased their durability degradation.
  
• Moonlight Greatsword can no longer be enchanted and buffed. Attack animation has been slowed / adjusted.
  
• The upward adjustment weight, the degree of toughness, the defense of “large helmet of Gerumu warrior” Armor (Thanks Google Translate. I have no idea what a Gerumu is).
  
• Reduced damage from the Ring of Thorns.
• Reduced damage from the Ring of the Old Sun
• Damage will not decrease for every enemy that Soul Spear pieces trough.
• Increase in casting time and decrease of damage for Soul Greatsword
• Upward adjustment of the bullet speed “lump of Seoul to be tracked” magic “crystal mass of Seoul to be tracked”, and a lower adjustment of stamina take the amount of darkness surgery “those who follow” (Unsure of the horrible Google Translate)

• Decrease in damage and increase in casting time for all Fire Storm-esque pyromancies. Might also include a decrease in damage for Forbidden Sun.
  
• Increased defense for Lucatiel, Benhart, and Manscorpion Tark (one other NPC mentioned).
  
• The downward adjustment of the HP enemy “rupture the Dead” (???)
• Female mages in Shrine Of Amana receiving nerf in both damage and their spell’s tracking ability.
  
• Fire Lizards in Forest of Fallen Giants will not spit fire in slower intervals.
  
• Downward adjustment period the occurrence of the shock wave of attack during downswing enemy of “backpack hammer” (???)
  
• The Last Giant now does even less damage to players and Well-Mannered Pate.
• The Lost Sinner now has less HP and does less damage.
• Royal Rat Authority now has less HP and does less damage
• Duke’s Dear Freja’s laser breath now does less damage.
• Enemies around Sinner’s Rise now do less damage
• Shadow Men in the Flexile Sentry’s Boss area in NG+ now do less damage

Recent DS patch

The Games with Gold version of Dark Souls didn't include the patches that were previously released for the retail version. I assume the update was adding those patches in.

 

If you can have one game or game series from the 360 updated for Xbox One, what would it be?

Dark Souls 2 and a next gen version of Shadowrun.

 

You could have just went to Dark Souls official website to get the patch notes with out all those strange translations....

You could have just said the From is starting to cater to casuals, and we would've gotten the same message.

 

Ugh. I've been working on a character to use the twinblade, and I'm glad they increased the durability. It was ridiculously low. The weapon would break after killing about 3 enemies.

Unfortunately, they also nerfed the damage at the same time, and it was already pretty low. The numbers reported in the menu didn't change, but I'm doing no damage. I did a backstab with a +6 raw twinblade for 88 points of damage. I do more damage than
that on a regular swing from an unupgraded longsword.

 

Yeah... I actually really like the twinblade. It is fun to use.... but the lack of damage makes it such a chore to kill things with. Wish it was a bit better in the damage department.

 

Pretty much what JIMBOB said. The game was fine as is. I understand patching gamebreaking issues but to patch certain things (e.g. making bosses easier) in a notoriously challenging game just to appease all the sensitive crybabies who can't "hack it", is
wrong..................just wrong. I've said it before and I'll say it again....If the Souls series is too hard for you, then play something else. Quit trying to force your "square peg" gaming habits into the perfect "round hole" that is a Souls game. Apparently
Demon/Dark Souls 1&2 just aren't for you. Like the kids say nowadays "Git Gud" or go play something more your speed and leave these games alone.
