    I have not been on in over 2 months. I originally bought the season pass when the first DLC came out. I checked my hard drive and it has Compatibility pack 1 and 2.

    I got on tonight and it said I did not have the newest pack so I would have to start in offline mode. With my season pass I figured all I needed to do was download the latest DLC. I then searched Dark Souls 2 in the market place and couldn't find anything.
    I read online that some people needed to delete their compatibility pack 1. So i preceded to do that. Logged in again and nothing has changed, still have to start in offline mode. Decided to delete Compatibility pack 2 so I could re-download everything. Well
    after deleting that I could not find where I can re-download all the DLC i purchased. I even went into my Download history and found where I downloaded the DLC. I clicked on it to re-download it but it came up with error " Sorry, there's a problem with Xbox
    service... look up status code 800700E8" I am installing the game onto my hard drive right now in hopes that it will grab all the DLC. Any one else have this problem or know of something I can do about this?

    Also every time it says go to online store to purchase the updated content, I click yes, and it then says there is nothing new here to purchase.

    p.s. Its not just Compatibility Pack 3, its 2 and 1 also.

    Edit: installing my game changed nothing.

    I'm having the same problem, I tried to play Dark Souls 2, but de compatibility pack that I need to play isn't in the Marketplace.

    Never Recieved Preorder Code

    I preordered Dark Souls 3 on the Xbox One on April the 11th and I have still not recieved my code for the Dark Souls backwards compatibility game the preorder was supposed to come with.

    I called xbox. They told me they are working on the problem 800700E8. Also, I went to Gamestop & Bought the game. I am down loading the Compatibility 3 now. They did refund my money. I hope this helps.

    The marketplace was under maintenance for a couple days. All should be back to normal now.

    Dark Souls 2 Backwards Compatible

    Hello Daffodil,

    The dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin is dark souls 2 definitive edition. In description states has all of dark souls 2 content released to date and much more. So the regular dark souls 2 edition will not become backward compatible.

    Although could be wrong, as there is a dark souls remastered that is dark souls 1 out for Xbox one.

    1.) Yes. It's supposed to be given about 7-10 days after purchase although it's been delayed lately, but it's still supposed to go out before Dark Souls 3 is released.

    2.) It's for the 360 version which will be backwards compatible. There is no Xbox One version of Dark Souls 1.
