    Dark Souls 2 announced.


    Don't bother with torches, i never do until you get to a certain enemy. Well for the first time I'm well and truly stuck on a boss in the old Iron Keep, the main boss, no matter how much i try, no death...just my own!

    Dark Souls 2 announced.

    How are you finding it now you have had a little time with it? Just managed another boss, think thats my 15th or so, making steady progress, finding it much more enjoyable then DS1!

    I'm not as far as you but I do remember the dogs in the lost Bastille dropped a few. I have also just found out a trick to staying human without using up more human effigies (although you may already be aware). If you have a ring of life protection equipped
    when you die you will keep your humanity and all your souls but the ring breaks. You can then visit the blacksmith in Majula and he will repair it for 3000 souls. Well worth considering for some of those tricky boss fights.

    Yeah I'm using the Ring of Life Protection now and its working well, i just needed to find a Human Effigy to use the damn thing, i'll just keep repairing that until i find some more, managed to get one to drop from the mermen in the Shrine of Amana, managed
    to defeat the boss and now in the Undead Crypt and thats where i had to leave it last night.

    The game is not that hard a lot easier than the first thats for sure.

    How long does it take for them to despawn? Could one not argue that the fact that they respawn at all is enough of an inventive to get good and not die so much in the first place? I take your point though. I've only dipped my toes in Demons and barely touched
    Dark so I can't talk about much here.
