Dark Souls 2 Achievement issue

the self-recollection achievement hasn't popped for me, though I've completed the requirements (customizing my character) three times. Will resetting my save fix this? Is there anything else I can try?

The Dark Soul Achievement Not Unlocking In Dark Souls 2 Scholar Of The First Sin.

I unlocked all the achievements in Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and the last achievement called "The Dark Soul" won't unlock for me. It's been over 72 hours and I've been connected to xbox live the whole time. I also tried all the troubleshooting steps on the article
still nothing.

 

Problems with getting achievements

Hi,

I'm waiting since 3 weeks for 100GS achievement of Dark Souls 2 SotFS (for finish the game).

 

I'd try power cycling your console first, then if that doesn't work I'd try deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud save.

Power cycle console

1.Go to the Home screen.

2.Press the Menu button on the controller.

3.Select Settings.

Note You can say “Xbox, go to settings” from any screen, but you’ll need a controller once you’re on the Settings screen.

4.Go to Power & startup.

5.Select Turn Xbox Off.

6.Select Yes. The console powers down.

7.Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Note If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

How do I delete saves I no longer need?

You can manage your data for individual games through My games & apps on your Home screen. Here’s how:

1.From the Home screen, select My games & apps.

2.Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.

3.Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press A on your controller.

4.You’ll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data: ◦Delete from console will remove the local copy of this save. You can retrieve it from the cloud the next time you play.

◦Delete everywhere will remove your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.

◦Cancel will leave your data intact.

I had a similar problem in the game, I started another save (since really at that point you're only 2 minutes into the game anyhow) and made a new character. Once I was done making it and talked to one of the women in the hut again, the achievement popped
once I left the building.
