    I remember that the digital code for DS 1 was only reserved for those who had made the pre-order of DS 3. We're talking about the digital version, while physics should contain the code inside.

    Hi Lord Cyan, if you preordered Dark Souls 3 and got a code for Dark Souls 1 you can already play it on the Xbox 360 but the only reason why it's not available yet for you to play on your Xbox One console is because it is not backwards compatible yet. They
    will add it to the list as soon as it's ready, hopefully within the release date of DS3 :)

    Dark Souls 1 is not currently a backwards compatible game so I'm guessing that you will get the code 7-10 days after it is released on March 24th with DS3. Unfortunately nothing has officially been announced by Microsoft.
