Dark souls 1 code

Havent received my downloadable code that I thought I would be getting with pre ordering dark souls 3 for the original dark souls. I pre ordered on February 22nd and haven't heard anything regarding this other than complaints. I have talked to customer support
a few times and they refer me to this forum each time.

Hope someone can help me before the weekend begins......

I bought dark souls 3 and never received my code for dark souls 1.

 

Having the same problem.. still... Pre ordered on the 21st. Also, unsure where exactly the code will show up. The advertisement said the code would be sent through the message system, but I've read elsewhere that it will be sent to your email.

 

Phantom that's really inconvenient, thought that digital pre orders would make it simple. Not so we had to go out of our way to make sure they provided us with a bonus they advertised in first place. Just finished getting off the phone with a receptionist
at Bandai and she said we should email them so they could get back to us on MONDAY.

Officially disappointed with Bandai. Worries for dark souls 3 have now begun.

 

Guys just sayin we got duped. They just answered my post not long ago and they basically just told me to wait until 3 comes out to get my code sooo.... yeah thanks MS

 

Making me question Lightning why I pre ordered in the first place, reason being I thought id get dks 1 so I could prepare to die all the more in dark souls 3...

 

Same problem, did the pre-order on Feb 17th. This is what it says on the store page:

Bundle Description:For a limited time, purchase a digital pre-order of the DARK SOULS™ III Deluxe Edition on the Xbox One Store and get Dark Souls playable on Xbox One. The code for Dark Souls will be delivered to your Xbox message center
in 7-10 days. You can redeem the code on your Xbox One console or at xbox.com/redeemcode.

Nowhere is mentioned any caveat about release dates, or anything. Just 7-10 days. This is ***.

 

Does anyone know if the DLC will be brought over as well if the game ever happens to make it to xbox one ?

 

Dark Souls 1 is not currently a backwards compatible game so I'm guessing that you will get the code 7-10 days after it is released on March 24th with DS3. Unfortunately nothing has officially been announced by Microsoft.

I understand your frustration regarding not receiving your Dark Souls codes after pre-ordering Dark Souls III off the Xbox Store. Have you all made posts here (forums.xbox.com/.../4272.aspx)
in the Promotions and Special Offers forums? Someone would be able to better assist you there. Also, Dark Souls is still not backwards compatible (with no confirmed release date) so even if you did receive your code, you would be unable to play on Xbox One.

I think that everyone here can agree that it is a very misinterpreting pre order bonus description. This doesn't count as a scam as we will eventually get the original dark souls copy with the release of dark souls 3 but I feel that lot's of people (including
myself) inferred that we'd be getting a code "playable" for dark souls in 7-10 days. Instead of saying something like this that many angry gamers are coming to find out; please specify that it (dark souls 1) will be playable upon this date etc. Obviously this
isn't a over look because who wants to play dark souls one at the exact time it's successor comes out? No one quite frankly. I guess now with our free time, we shall go hollow and slowly driven to madness in anticipation for the third and final sequel of the
souls games. Thanks for wasting our time Microsoft.
