DAO on XB1 impossible suppress characters or saves

Again to disagree, the US Military refers to it as Supressor. What the attachment does is Suppress. It is impossible to silence a weapon.

story... characters... lore... geography... ... ...the game.--absorb it all for the better experience. not a portion of it for a watered-down one. thats my advice. of course DAO and DA2's specific stories and characters are stand-alone from each other, but
its not like the original is a 10 year old, outdated game or anything.

I'll play the loyal opposition here and say that DAII is better than DAO. For the following reasons:

1. Tactics is greatly improved and expanded.

2. combos are no longer limited to mages.

3. Your character is no longer a mute who communicates telepathically. I know that some prefer DAO's dialog system where you "say" exactly what text you selected, but I don't.

4. Yes, this one doesn't have the epic story line of the first, but quite frankly, I'm tired of fantasy RPG's where you're having to save the land from the big-bad. It's been done to death. This one has a more intimate feel to it and nicely foreshadows
what's to come in the next game. And before THAT one comes out, I'm going to re-play DAO & DAII in anticipation. I can't wait! (But I will order it using the "super-saver" option... so I guess I can wait.)

Having said that, you should play DAO first. It's also a great game. Plus, you get to import the decisions you made in DAO into DAII.

P.S.: Like the OP, I also didn't care for Fable III. I found it blase' and had to force myself to finish it.

I was in the Top 2% for 'suppression assists/kill percentage' on BF3stats.com BEFORE they buffed the effects.

I didn't need it then and I din't need it now. My aim sucks either way. The only issue with the old suppression was that it was impossible to get any ribbons unless you delibrately set out to camp and miss on purpose. I think I only had 3 pre-buff. Now
I get at least one ribbon per game.

Overpowered? If anything, I feel that shotguns need a boost. The 870 and maybe DAO were the only solid shotguns from a decent distance (unless you fired an entire USAS clip) that I felt could actually kill. Even then,
they were very iffy.

Many times, I would find myself dead before I could fire a second shot against basically any automatic. I shouldn't nor can I constantly have to flank enemies for a shotgun to be able to actually kill. I'm not exactly
charging at the enemies either.

I never used frag rounds much because I thought they sucked. I hope DICE didn't intend them to be suppression-specific weapons because I feel that suppression isn't that great. Unless the idea was to suppress someone from a
distance with frag rounds and move up on them for the kill. Still seems only good on paper.
