Dante's Inferno DLC not registering?

So picked up the game through games with gold, I already owned all the DLC previously, so I attempted to download them from the store, but they were not listed as free. I risked buying one, and it did
not charge me the price and the download went well, so I thought it was just a small bug. However, none of the dlc show as downloaded in the game itself, and uninstalling them does not prompt them to return to the ready to install section of the game. I could
really use some help here.

Edit: Downloading the free souls pack from the microsoft website, a dlc i hadnt had before, DOES prompt it to show up in the ready to install section. Doing the same for previously owned DLC does not.
Please help!

Edit 2: Trying to push the download of the dlc using the xbox app results in the error: "you need to install the game or app for this"

Do they appear in the ready to install section of your Xbox itself? You may also want to check the store - often games and dlc you have purchased from the store will be there for re-download.

 

They appear nowhere except in the store for purchase. Not re-download, purchase. It says I have to buy them again, even though I've already "bought" them twice. Also, I've edited my post with an additional result from an experiment I tried.

We suggest a reset of the console since the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a

Soft Factory Reset (while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

• There is a stable network connection.
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

 

so that did absolutely nothing. No change, same issues.

 

So, do you have any more help to offer, or did you just run off after you "turn it off and back on again" suggestion didn't work?

I had to jump through a few hoops myself when trying to get back my old map packs for Call of Duty Black Ops 1. From what I have seen, your situation is a bit similar since it is not showing up under the "ready to install" and the app is not help at all.
I had to go into the game hub and
download it from there,

1. In My games & apps, select See all, locate the game, and then press the
   Menu button.
2. Select Manage game & add-ons.
3. Select the Ready to install tab.
4. Select the add-on you want to install.
5. Press the A button
   to install the add-on, or select Install all.

 

Apologies if it wasn't clear in my post somehow, but they are not in the ready to install section of the game itself, or the games and apps menu. They don't even show as free in the xbox store, only on the microsoft website, despite me owning them. I've
even tried pushing the download from the xbox app on my laptop (where they show as owned), as soon as I do my xbox says “you need to install the game or app for this”

 

What is it with you microsoft agent guys, do you all run off as soon as you post you response, thinking it's the right answer? News flash: it wasn't, and I'm still getting screwed out of DLC I paid for.

Sorry you're dealing with this issue trying to get your DLC to work for that game on the One. It could be that this DLC is not backwards compatible, as is the case with some games.

If they do download and seem to install, maybe try to launch the game and when you're in the 360 emulator press the select
and menu buttons go to Settings,
Storage, delete your profile and then redownload it.

I also suggest giving our support pages entitled
Troubleshoot playing Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One and/or
Troubleshoot Xbox 360 Marketplace purchasing a look through if you haven't yet.

When you have a chance, give those things a shot and let us know what happens.

Wow, all those replies from various Microsoft people, and it comes down to dlc not being backwards compatible. Yous should probably but a giant disclaimer somewhere, or remove them from the store, as I know of several people who bought the dlc when this
game became backwards compatible who just got ripped off thanks to this. Nice going.

Esteban said that it could be that the DLC is not backwards compatible, as in it could be a possibility and not the definite answer.

We're are currently looking into this by trying to recreate it ourselves to figure out if the game has some technical issues relating to previously owned DLC's.

In the meantime I would recommend getting in contact with EA support as they do play a part with how their content behaves on the store or marketplace.

Also I recommend to report this problem to Xbox through the
Xbox Insider Hub app. You need to have the app installed but you don't have to be enrolled in the program to report a problem. Hold down the power button on the controller and once the menu comes up select report a problem.
