dance central spotlight keeps freezing

I just got my xbox one on Friday. I've played assassin's creed black flag which only froze once, when I went back to home screen and let the controller turn off. When I went back to the game it resumed but didn't detect the controller so I had to reboot.

After watching TV for about 2 hours through the xbox, I let the kids try dance central spotlight. every time they place the game would freeze when they started to try a second song. I could go back to the xbox home so the xbox wasn't frozen just the game.
So I don't think its a heat issue.

Its been very frustrating The kids are having fun then I have to reboot the unit to get them to play again.

Is there a way to just stop a frozen game?

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try deleting then reinstalling the game to see if that helps?

 

Dance central spotlight keeps freezing

My dance central spotlight is freezing every second song, when there are two players. After freezing it just pops out to dashboard. I've tried to reboot the console, but it doesn't help. Please help

 

Could be just a glitch. Try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray the click on Clear Persistent Storage 3 times and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the game and redownloading it.

 

I'm having the EXACT same problem.

I bought/downloaded Dance Central 2 Spotlight.

The first song after launch plays fine. The game crashes during the second song however! I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, but that doesn't solve it.

 

Bump. I have the same issue.

 

Just bought the game - and it freezes too. Appears to be when Achievements are unlocking when 2 people are playing (in my case, it happened twice within 10 minutes). After freezing, it exited to dashboard.

It also kept dropping the second player while we were playing.

Either way, Harmonix definitely did not product test this game. Glad I got it for only $5.
