Dance Central Spotlight - Keeps Crashing to Home Screen

I purchased Dance Central Spotlight today and the game won't load. It starts to load, shows the ESRB screen and then the screen that says "Music Downloads Not Rated by the ESRD" then the game just crashes to the home screen.

I have tried doing the ten second reboot a couple of times. I have also tried deleting the install and re-installing. Nothing has worked.

Sorry for my bad english.

When I was dancing, or my wife or my son, dancing just one music no errors. After, the selecting the new music, the bip of crash is starting and the control not running. after 10 seconds later, the XBox One returns to the home screen, and I go again to the
game.

But I dance just one music again and when I select the new music, the crash is starting again.

I try chance the Gamepic, And the achievement, killer of caracter, was unlock. but the crash and error continued.

 

Dance Central Spotlight Crashing

We just got an Xbox one for xmas - the key feature (for my 6 year old) was the Kinect and Dance games. However, we've been unable to play the game for more than 5 mins as it randomly crashes/freezes.

I've found a number of threads on here where people have logged the same issue, but there's no sensible responses, or they're just told to create a new thread.

Is there a resolution to this issue, or have we just been suckered into a purchase on the basis of a game that doesn't work (by the way, the other games work fine, so I suspect its not the xbox itself, but its hard to explain to a 6 year old why the one
game she wants to play doesn't work!).

 

No solution but I have the same problem.

 

This is a known bug that affects some users (that we weren't able to catch until it was running in a retail/consumer environment on the Xbox One). While we work on a patch, here's the workaround: change your gamer profile picture.

1. Sign into the profile you want to use with Dance Central Spotlight.

2. Select profile pane (column on the left).

3. Select "My Profile".

4. Select "Customize" > Select "Change Gamerpic".

5. Select a different Gamerpic.

6. Launch Dance Central Spotlight

7. After successful launch you can change back to your original profile picture.

This isn't a joke and has to do with how data was stored when saving gamer profiles on earlier versions of Xbox One software. Sorry about the inconvenience.

 

Had to do this about an hour ago, worked great! Props to Mizzzah, now I can get my dance on!
