    Dance Central 3 do not allow to import Dance Central 2 music Pack


    Hi, i'm having a problem with my Dance Central 3 game on xbox 360.

    I have purchased a new Hard Drive and i try to download the old DC's versions music packs but it's not won't working right.

    The Dance Central (1) it's Ok, i got it

    But the import of the Dance Central 2 isnt working

    I have the code and the discs

    When i'm in the Download/purchase songs there is 3 options:

    1 Download DC

    2 Download DC2

    3 Insert a new code

    • The DC download is working fine;
    • The DC 2 open the Download screen but don't let to do it, there is only enabled a button for cancel/back;
    • The Insert a New Code option, don't enable to put the DC 2 code(with 25 characters), only the DC code (with 16 characters).
    I need help to solve that issue please.

    enter the code again. Likewise, if you've purchased Dance Central 2 from Games on Demand, simply select Dance Central 2 Import and you'll be taken to the next step without needing to enter a code.

    6. Follow the on-screen instructions to purchase the Dance Central Export Pack.

    Hi there,

    I'm having the same problem and those links don't help. I only see a Cancel option for the Dance Central 2 Import Pack. I'm able to buy other songs with the profile I'm using so my gamertag has the relevant permissions.

    Within Dance Central 3, I see my Dance Central 1 songs (as I imported them years ago into Dance Central 2) but the Dance Central 2 songs are not in the list.

    Any guidance would be really appreciated as I've tried a lot of things but not getting anywhere.

    Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand
    this situation can be frustrating. We have noticed others were having a similar issue as well.
    Exporting the original
    Dance Central
    and/or
    Dance Central 2
    to Dance Central 3
    will cost 400 Microsoft points per disc, and you need an Xbox-LIVE enabled Gamertag that has permission to make purchases. If you've already exported the original
    Dance Central
    track list into
    Dance Central 2, you don't need to export those songs again; they'll automatically install in your
    Dance Central 3
    library. All of your previously purchased downloadable content will also import automatically.

    Side Note:
    each game can only be exported once.

    Please check out the
    following link regarding the steps to take to export
    Dance Central and / or
    Dance Central 2 into
    Dance Central 3.
