    hello i was just wondering if they are still giving away damaged xbox's they cant sell in the stores . i see they they have took down the video about it. would love to have 1 for the grandkids to play when they are here.

    Its not you being hacked its you Xbox's disk drive probably slightly damaged or dirty.

    Hey, so I may need a little help. Here's the problem. So when I plug in the xbox the power brick flashes white and orange for a bit, then when I turn it on it turns off after 5 seconds. Now this can't be the power source as my brother's xbox works
    fine with the exact same set up. It may have been water damage and if so I had already dried it and it's been waiting for about a month and drying up like people have said but it still does the same. I honestly have no idea what to do.
    I had the same problem but not water damage it was with too much dust tried removing but still didn't work.

    I had a friend buy X1 AC Adapter power cord just today and that solved my problem with turning the power back on my Xbox One. It cost me $45.19 that's tax included, Canadian.

    "Power Troubleshooter"     it may helps but I think you have to send your console to a repair center.

    Hello KittyBeatrix,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue, we understand that you have tried troubleshooting the issue but have you tried the steps in this support article for
    Xbox One Power Supply issue? If not, I would suggest trying the steps here to determine if it is definitely not the Power Supply
    unit that is having the issue. If it is not the Power Supply Unit then there will be an issue with the console that will need to be resolved. More than likely the console might need to be repaired, however, because there's been water damage the repair center
    will not service the console.

    If you have any other questions please feel free to reply back letting us know. Thank you again for posting on Xbox Forums.
