Damaged Xbox

About a month ago I sent my Xbox One in for repairs because it was having disk drive problems. I sent my Xbox in looking brand new and I purposely did not want to do the advanced exchange because I wanted mine back because it was in mint condition. Three
weeks after sending it in I finally received it back. When I opened the box it came in and took out the console, the whole Xbox was covered in scratches! I called Xbox support for the first time and a man named Jeff said he would escalate the problem and
come up with a solution so I did not have to send my Xbox in again. I received an email from him the next day and he asked for pictures of the Xbox, a time to call me, and a phone number. I responded 4 times with those requests and didn't receive anything
back, so I decided to call. I was on the phone and on hold for about 3.5 hours last night. The first operator could not help me so she sent me to a "supervisor". I told the supervisor the problem and all she kept saying is that the only solution is to send
me a refurbished console, which I told them countless times that I didn't want. If I wanted a refurbished console I would have done the advanced exchange. Who knows if a refurbished console would look any better than the one I received back, or have problems
in the future. I kept asking for a different solution and all she kept saying was "unfortunately this is your only option." It was like I was talking to a robot. I asked to talk to a different supervisor and she said that that's not possible if I wanted to
talk to a different supervisor I would have to hang up and called again and wait on hold again. I asked her what the point of sending pictures was and escalating the problem if all they were going to tell me is that they are going to send me a refurbished
Xbox. I called back and talked to another supervisor to find out that my problem was never escalated like the last 3 people told me it was and now I have to wait another 3-5 days for "tier 3" people to come up with a solution. The second supervisor at least
had a conversation with me even though she raised her voice at me a lot and told me to "calm down" when she was looking into my case. I wasn't even raising my voice. I am very disappointed with the customer service and offended about how I was treated especially
because of how loyal I have been to this brand from day one of the original Xbox. Microsoft should take ownership of damaging my console and not treat me like I'm a little kid. I hope escalating the problem actually works and they come up with a solution
and not tell me that I only have one option when it was their fault that my Xbox got severely damaged.

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Also run a network test on the console to see if everything is up and running.

It's been 6 days and still have not hear anything from "tier 3" customer service.

 

My friend and I were wrestling and he pushed me off the side of my bed, causing me to fall, my right foot (which had a sock on it) I THINK hit the top of my Xbox (on the half were it is black, the half next to the vent), did it damage it?

Only you can answer that question. Did it damage it? Is it still working okay? Did it sustain any physical damage (i.e. Scratches, Dents, Breaks, etc...) ?
