    Damaged Xbox One Day One Controller


    Hi,



    The left side seam of my Xbox One controller is slightly ajar which is making the left thumb stick very loose. It is a Day One controller so I was wondering if it was possible to get it repaired? I tried entering both of the serial numbers behind the
    battery pack but the support website says they are too short and too long, respectively.

    Same thing happened to me, two bad scratches, one shows light through the big x button. another is on the trigger and you can feel it. I waited on hold with microsoft for 2 hours and 56 minutes till i got someone. The girl was nice but they only sent me
    an email that says i have to send the controller in before getting one back, and they expect me to pay for shipping and packaging myself!!!!!! I am irate right now. Im going back to best buy and am going to throw a fit like a child, because they wouldn't help
    me the first time I went there.

    Got my Day One bundle in the mail today. Packaging looks intact, but the controller arrived with a large scratch on it. How do I get a replacement sent to me, so that I do not have to go without a controller (I do not want to have to send this in before
    getting a new one). Thanks for helpful advice!

    Its unlikely that you would get the same controller back, also you will not get a day one controller back.

    Hey ntin,

    Yes of cource you can get your controller repaired. You will have to send in your old controller and they will send you a brand new one. But here is the issue, you won't get that same controller back though. Also the controller you will recieve won't be
    a Day One Edition controller. (like GrowlingYapper above me stated). I'm sorry it has to be like this. It will be up to you if you want to trade in your faulty Day One contoller for a new one.

    From my experience, the standard Xbox One controller is like a fancy sports car. It is well built and it is capable of taking a fair amount of damage before it stops working.

    I'm honestly going to be surprised if this Xbox One S controller is as durable as the Xbox 360 controller. I am going to be really surprised if this Xbox One S controller is even more durable than the Xbox 360 controller.

    Wow! HaloJolly actually believes someone from Microsoft, who says, you will be able to turn of the kinect so gamers will be in control, (paraphrased) just ONE day after the announcement of the Xbox none, and, after the INSANE ammount of backlash from basically
