Damaged Minecraft for Xbox 360 disk

My Minecraft for Xbox 360 disk has been damaged and now the program will not load. How might I obtain a replacement?

My X box 360 can not read any disc

There are two options either that your disk reader is damaged on your Xbox 360 or just can be dirty from dust.

 

You will have to buy another copy.

 

Might I recommend you buy it digitally so you don't have to worry about discs becoming damaged again.

I was talking to him and he could not get it to work his disc drive

tried every thing almost like he has to send it in but is there any thing else he can do

 

If it's a problem with the consoles disc drive & not the game then sending the console in for repair is the only thing to do,or buy a new console.

 

Unfortunately, you will have to purchase another copy. You will not get a free replacement for your own mistake. The console damaged the disc when you moved it while it was spinning. Otherwise, it just doesn't damage a disc.

 

If you damaged your disk, there is nothing that can be done for you, you will have to purchase another game disk. Perhaps purchase it from your console itself, so you do not have to have a disk version.

 

It is a first party Microsoft game, Microsoft has a disc replacement program for first party titles. contact xbox support
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us and they can set you up for a replacement disc. (but the replacement program still costs $20 for a replacement but that's cheaper than buying a new game disc)

 

Minecraft isn't on the list of replCement discs? Anyone know why?

Minecraft isn't a Microsoft game so that's why it isn't on the list.
