Damaged controller in shipping

the controller that came with the xbox was damaged when we received it, how do I get it replaced?

For mine they did send me a new Xbox so idk why would they send a new one if my old was was tamperd? I just think on mine someone made a mistake. Yours does sound like more of a mess I always wondered what happens if somthing was damaged in shipping surprise
the shipping company won't pay for it who would have thought? The box my Xbox came in was also damaged but not the contents thank god.

The quickest way would be to exchange it with the retailer, but if that's not an option you can setup a repair online through the online service center

HERE. After you register the console, you'll be able to setup an accessory for repair.

 

yeah, you can call m$, they get it all set up for you to get the controller replaced.....and notify you that You are responsible for the shipping cost. Unacceptable. Period.
