    Damaged box from UPS delivery


    Sent my xbox away under warranty for a repair for overheating, got my xbox back yesterday but the box it was in has been ripped open with hardly any packaging inside. So worried about rainy weather getting in, the box being thrown or dropped affecting the
    components inside, and the security of the console, being able to see serial numbers etc.

    There's no complaints department I can see, and the contact us page only brings me to these forums so I can't send an email or anything. What can I do?

    Xbox smahed upon being retuned after repair

    I am not 100% sure on this but sounds like your xbox got damaged in the delivery process which would mean that that UPS is responsible. hopefully someone else will be able to confirm this.

    Microsoft messed up Day One Xbox order!! Delivery date 28th November!!! UK

    It's because MSStore only paid for "UPS Saver" delivery. Talked to UPS again, and mine hasn't even left Tamworth yet because they didn't get it from Microsoft until 3:38am this morning. Who at Microsoft thought there was any chance of delivery today if
    they couldn't be bothered to deliver it to UPS until this morning?

    Did you get the console though? If not, please contact UPS for help with any insurance claims.

    You should also contact xbox support to open a ticket on this incident if you did not receive your console or it is damaged:

    Hi! While I'm not sure how this usually works in the US, I wouldn't accept the shipment in the first place if the package is damaged as shown above. During their available times you should also be able to access Xbox Support chat from here: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    UPS says they left Xbox One at door. Can Microsoft help track xbox one somehow?

    Once it leaves the retailer you purchased the console from, it is solely responsible to UPS to delivery the package. It is out of Microsofts hands right when UPS picked up your box. They only know the Serial Number when you activate the Xbox with your gamertag.
    As for signature required, they do not need to have it for a $500 package. Weird, yes. But that's the facts.
