Damage Percentages

Discus and support Damage Percentages in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; What do these mean? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I have found that 78% damage, 89%, damage, 99% Damage, even 100% damage doesn't drop...     What do these mean? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I have found that 78% damage, 89%, damage, 99% Damage, even 100% damage doesn't drop the opponent and or kill them... I have been killed with a pistol while getting 100% Point blank Gnasher
    Hits, I have had a BoomSHOT Not kill a guy but kill me instead with nothing in front of me to catch the blast...

    If these "Damage Percentages" are supposed to reflect the damage you do to the player then they are WAY WAY OFF... In my opinion anything Higher than 55% should drop the other player to their knees, not letting them walk around as if not even hit... and if
    you take 65% or more Damage you better be on the ground I don't care what weapon you are hit with...

    Otherwise what is the point of the percentages if they are not accurate?

    As I understand it - weapons in the game do damage by percentage points. the game rounds percentage points to the nearest integer, so someone with .31% health would show as a zero, .65% would show as 1%. seems legit.

    I think the hit % is bogus in this game!

    Theyre frustrating to say the least but RNG's will always be so.

    Plus you cant look at percentages as x out of 10 times. By default theyre x out of 100 times. Theres quite a few ways in game to increase those percentages. Move to flank, destroy enemy's cover, use guaranteed damage, etc.

    Don't the bleed cards in Gears 5 tell you a percentage of damage dealt will be distributed as bleed damage? ie. If I do 50 damage with a shot, and 100% of damage will be dealt as bleed, then 50 damage will be dealt over the duration?

    Hello Sraccoon1,

    Thank you for your post. Using a higher percentage isopropyl alcohol (71% - 99) on your controller will not damage it. Going lower than 70% runs the risk of damaging your controller with a high amount of water.

    frag grenades should be renamed to hit markers

    I think the BB's give better percentage than the claymore's, stopped using frag right from the start. The emp grenades are good to throw into buidlings you're about to enter, doe's a bit of damage that leads to the kill
