Dam ridiculous!

I would personally love to by all my games digital! I have no care at all to resell my games and would love to be able to sit there and say "xbox go to destiny". There's only one HUGE dilemma I'm having. The price of games on the Xbox store. It is insane.
I was just browsing today when I noticed that Call of duty : ghost was $100.20. Is all I can say is WTF! I didn't pay that much when it was brand new from a shop. What we need is an opt in code that you put in but then can't resell that copy of the game. And
if you do want to resell don't put the code in. But you need the disc to play. But seriously. Destiny $99.99. It's cheaper for me to go to EB Games and we all know how much of a ripoff they are!

Ok this is getting a little ridiculous Microsoft! Where is the dam code ? It's been over 10 business days ! Have you ever heard of false advertising?

dam dam dam, I had GH3 on my wii but I gave it to my niece and bought the 360 version because I wanted that DLC, thats basically the only reason that I bought it again on the 360!!

Thats the reason they are so expensive online, if they undercut or even be on par with places like EB price wise it would most likely put them out of business and I think there is some sort of agreement that they are going by.

I agree though, if the games were cheaper I would have bought a bunch of them online by now. I dont trade my games in, have a library of about 100 or so games. Less clutter if I can digital download.

 

Even if they did sell them on par with the shops, it still wouldn't put said shops out of business. There are still a lot of people out there that like to buy the physical copy so the can trade it in for new games. I don't think the game should be cheaper
than the physical copy but seriously. 30, 40, and in some cases even 50 dollars above the physical copy is just plain insanity! They want people to go all digital but don't give us any insentive what so ever to do so!

 

This is one of the main reason I don't buy all digital, I hardly trade my games in too and the convenience would be nice, but I'm not about to pay $20 - $40 for that convenience when I work right in the city, pretty much.

 

I'm glad I'm not alone in all this. To tell you the truth, I wish they had of kept their original vision with the all online, no trade ins. I'd be very happy to buy all digital. Wish they would price match

3. Activate card.

4. Switch Xbox One region to where game/content is cheaper (see below).

I saved around $10 on the EA Access subscription. Saving almost $40 for Sunset Overdrive... We'll never get a fair go when it comes to video game prices.

 

Parity with brick and morter stores is one thing, but the games on the Australian store are listed at over the RRP! Using ghosts as an example, the RRP on that game is $99.95. The fact that it is listed as $100.20 really shows that this is probably UK Pounds
converted into AU Dollars, rather than giving an actual Australian set price.

 

Its prices such as this that are keeping me away from my Xbox for multiplat games. When I can pick up shadows of mordor for $35 dollars with all dlc on my PC, then why would I support the Xbox. I know people will say, why would I buy it on Xbox if I have
a PC that runs it anyway, but I like to sit back on the lounge, relaxing and playing. And yes I know I can hook my PC up too my tv but that my friends is a pain in the ***. Besides I don't think the missus would be too happy with a giant PC tower cluttering
up her lounge room! Lol

 

I've just bit the bullet on the X1 all my games are Digital and I love the convenience but yes I pay usually $20 more than EB or JB. I'd love it to be equal atleast but it's still worth it to have no discs and carry my HDD to another console or lend to a
friend.

I buy the must have games at full price but I have a list of others, usually games with little to no Multiplayer so I can wait longer for it to go on sale, like I did with Ryse. Think I paid $52 and also used some rewards cash.
