Daily Challenges freeze when complete

For the last ten days each time I complete a daily challenge the game freezes, requiring me to close the game. When I reenter the game I haven't been credited with the completion of that challenge. This happens no matter which challenge I choose or which
day. Needless to say I'm accumulating quite a large backlog of challenges. This doesn't happen when I play a traditional puzzle or the jigsaw jam from the main page, only with the daily challenges. I assume since the regular games work (as do all the other
MS Leisure Games I play) this has something to do with saving the daily challenge status to the cloud when a challenge has been completed.

Has anyone got a fix or a workaround?

Microsoft Jigsaw still freezing up

Please fix this problem. Seems people have been complaining for a few days now. I complete a daily challenge and when I try to collect the whole thing freezes up then eventually the games shuts down.

 

BTW, I did do an app reset without any change to the symptoms...

 

More details, I hear the fireworks and if I wait for that to complete then press the collect reward button I hear the coin noise, but never see the coin animation.

 

I have been having the same problem but sadly do not have a solution. Before I uninstalled and reinstalled I could not play at all as it frozeat the entry screen.

 

I don't want to wait too much into the month, or else I might not have enough time to complete them all. First part of the week if I haven't heard anything better I'll give that a try.

I did an uninstall then reinstall today with no change to the symptoms. I'll have to open a ticket on it since that seems to pin it down to a server side corruption.
