Daily Challenge - problem with Crossword

I get the message "Problem with loading Daily Challenge data......." when I try to load today's (11 April) Crossword game under Daily Challenges in Microsoft Ultimate Word Games. The other modules worked OK. Problem?

The daily challenge in Crosswords won't load(problem loading Daily Challenge data). Please Help.

I am also getting the Error message ---> There was a problem loading Daily Challenge Data.

I get it when I load the Crossword Daily Challenge. I never had this problem before now.

Also the Crosswords section in the main area also won't update to the next month April 2018.

What is going on with the Crossword parts? :-(

 

Same here, it started last night. Ran a troubleshooting program from Microsoft, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Ultimate Word Games app, still nothing.

For a moment I thought I had found the culprit when Avast popped up a warning about quarantining the MS synchronization feed. But even after adding it to the exceptions, the problem persists.

Also, uninstalling and reinstalling made all April maps disappear.

 

I'm having the same problem with loading Daily Challenge Crossword game. Is this problem being worked on??

 

Getting the same message. Is it being looked into and if so, has there been a diagnosis?

 

Problem still occurring for 12 April. Any progress with a fix?

of us being able to do work on said fun things required us to make the choice to not have an April map. The moment we have more information to share on what's to come I promise we will share it out to you

Thank you for the information. The issue with the data loading for Crossword seems to be resolved now. The April maps for Wordament and Jumble are back as well.

It's a pity that there will be no April map for Crossword, though. If I understand right, it had to be "sacrificed" for something else to take its place. I'm curious about what that might be.
