Lofty Who, no I do not need to open my mind or play more B Games. I've played plenty last Gen and enjoyed many of them. I can appreciate a Game that doesn't take itself to seriously.What I find extremely hypocritical is and was
the constant complaining from Devs they needed more power to produce a "Next Gen Game" experience. That's not the point. The point being, at least last Gen there were actual Games that were not possible on the prior Generation without extreme and serious compromise
that would have negated the Game all together. There isn't any case so far for this Gen.

Tzar of kaos, I'll take your Reply to perfectly demonstrate the above. All of those Games you have mentioned either do have a current Port on last Gen or there is nothing truly holding them back from having a Port on the last Gen. Even Ryse with all of it's
so called beautiful Graphics (which I don't see) could be easily Ported to last Gen with only a very minor drop in Graphical Fidelity. It contains nothing in terms of complexity that would not allow it to have a Port last Gen. Aside from the main Character
being rendered at a high quality, very little to nothing else contained that same level of detail and to top it off it was about as fun as watching paint dry.

I'm not for one second saying you should open your mind and play more B Games. Like I said, I think the more variety developers give is the better, for me a game ( not everyone ) that looks like it could have been made on an older system can be just as much
fun as a game with eye watering visuals and some huge open world to explore but that's just me.

You asked again when will we experience a next gen game?

I guess it depends on what expectations each of us have. For me I've already played loads of next/new gen titles and I totally believe as time goes on games will only get better, bigger worlds, better visuals etc. Again though I still think there's a place
for what you called B Games, they can be fun and I think the more variety we have the better.

 

Lofty Who, I am 100% for "variety" but that is both the problem and the excuse. That is the problem, there is no variety. It is B Title and Port one after another. Those that do not have a Port can or could have easily had one.
And yet again, my expectations are just one Next Gen Game. Landmark this Generation as the "Next Gen", that is all I am waiting for in regards.

You don't find any hypocrisy in the Developers claim they needed new Hardware to make a "Next Gen" Game yet all we have seen is Ported Games and B Titles? Is this really what they needed all of us to go out and spend up to or over $500 (US) on?

 

If the games i named can be port on Xbox 360,why Forza Horizon 2 doesn't use Forza 5 game engine or Drivitars,why in Shadow of Mordor' Nemesis system isn't the same on Xbox 360 & One,why all these games looks better and bring new expirences on Xbox one

Maybe because devs have to downgrade for Xbox 360 and upgrade for Xbox one.

Take the Xbox 360 library,downgrade it and you will be able to play all of them on the original Xbox.Where are those famous Xbox 360 "next-gen" games,now?

I think,you just try to find an excuse to keep complaining....

And there is no devs hypocrisy, making two different versions of the same game but there is hypocrisy from someone who played Resident Evil or Minecraft or Another world on his $500 "next-gen" console.

 

Sorry but Drivatars don't make FM5 Next Gen. The tiniest inkling that FM5 can truly show it is a Next Gen is the Editor being at 3,000 Vinyls as opposed to anything last Gen limit to 1,000. And that is borderline for something
that can be considered Next Gen.

As for the Games I play, hahahaahahaha, discredit by commenting on a Game someone plays. Maybe, just maybe there is nothing else to play on my $500 paper-weight?! If you also took the time to look up my Games you would have noticed I have an entire 30 minutes
of RE5. As for Another World, here's a shocker, I never played it from the original and wanted to see what the acclaim was. Oes noes... and I think it sucks, same goes for Limbo or most of the others I tried for either dirt cheap or GwG.

Start to complain against yourself.You bought a $500 console "by expectation" not for the games on it.

Sorry but Drivitars makes Forza 5 "next gen".More than a bunch of vinyls.

I've said it myself on these forums only in the last week, I'd love to see more variety in consoles games, I'd personally love to see more strategy games but I think from the games that are out now, whether so called 'AAA' titles or B Games it seems to be
going in the right direction, there's a good selection to choose from, obviously this is coming from someone that like's the look of a lot of the games! Hopefully as time goes on we will get a lot more variety still.

It's like I said before though, I guess it's just down to everybody's own expectations of what a next gen title is?

Forza 5 is being talked about here, I'd personally class that as a next gen game for the Drivatar system alone. I love my racers but one complaint I have of a lot of racing titles is the AI, a lot of the time they are very predictable, take the same line
into corners etc, after a while you lose a bit of the racing element as it's just a case of remembering exactly where they will go/brake etc. Forza 5 changed that for me when playing Career events by racing against the Drivatars of people I know.Ok this might
not sound like a huge step forward but it's made racing in SP a lot more exciting for me.

Once more though everyone will have different expectations of what a next gen game is/should be like.

 

This game, at the very least, is a game I'll be willing to try. Besides, it's got actual story in it, which I like, when compared to some people who simply prefer to stare at goats instead.

 

The Octogoat,half goat,half octopus but 100% unplayable...Coming soon to your favorite platform .

(Maybe i should sell this great idea to an indie dev....or maybe to a Hollywood studio)
