    So has this been updated? I was under the impression that you would need cables going to and from the controller headset and dac.

    Thank you for posting this, I am currently in this same position.

    Buying my Sundaras, which need an amp/dac combo or individually, But I dont want to buy another dac/amp when the series X releases.

    I will keep an eye out on this thread.

    My old school gaming set up. Yes. 2 channel & loving it.

    The Bel Canto DAC 1.5 & 2 are still very good considering they are from 1999 or 01, & can be had for under 400.00..
