Geek, the TV Guide not the Guide/ Home Menu/ Button. Heaven forbid I ask my roommates if they are ordering "pizza" and it thinks I said "Xbox TV". It really is stupid and very annoying.

No need to correct me, Lost - I knew exactly what you were referring to (the Oneguide). As a matter of fact, it is you that misunderstood me - when I said X button, I literally meant the blue X button on the right-side face of the controller, not the central
"Xbox" button that lights up in the middle of your controller that brings up the home screen. I know my Xbox terminology better than most.

 

I bought this tonight and I have to say it's pretty good. The Kinect motion controls work surprisingly well. They are light years better than the first Kinect. You can play it sitting down. You are actually meant to sit. I sit up close too.

Can someone give me an idea what this game is about and genre in a simple sentence or paragraph? I saw some screens and it actually looked interesting, but a bit odd at the same time. I think I'd prefer to hear from someone who is enjoying it too. Thanks

Basically you walk around and examine items and look for clues to solve your dilemma. You meet some really interesting characters. They usually give you things to do called "cases". There are some really cool action scenes that work well with the Kinect.
I'm not explaining it too well, but I like it a lot more today than I did yesterday and yesterday I really liked it.

 

No, that's given me a better idea trust me! So is it point and click?

Can you play without the Kinect? I know there might be some reasoning why I'd be missing out not using the Kinect, but I don't care, controller4lyfe, haha.

Yes, it is a point and click, but with some action sequences sprinkled in here and there. It's still fun though. There are boring sections too. It's hard to tell if it's good or not by watching clips.

You can use the controller if you want to. I haven't tried it yet, but you definitely can. The Kinect works quite well once you get used to it. You can use voice commands in a lot of the sections as well.

If you get it and don't like it, don't blame me. lol. Hopefully you do though if you decide to get it.

Haha, I wouldn't blame you Brand, but like you said it's hard to get a read on this game from gameplay videos and screens, though some of the screen shots is what made me think twice about this game.

Surprisingly, I quite like point and click, if it's done ok. I didn't really like the CSI point and click though, never went back to that series.

Just finish episode 2,what a game,i'm just upset by myself (didn't found everything),but can't wait for the rest....

The big clue is how many episodes left (season one) and when they will release them ?....
