    I'm at wits end with the D3d11 problem error. Tried all the fixes nothing worked. I'm an older person in my 50's and I'm not tech savvy

    Took the following steps:

    Updated drivers- Didn't work

    Bought and installed new game card- Didn't work

    Updated drivers for new game card- Didn't work

    Bought new monitor to be compatible with the new game card- Didn't work

    Updated Direct X to the most recent version- didn't work

    Tried to update windows defender- but not allowed to, the phone number connected to my account is a disused land line from multiple years ago and even if I had it, it would not except text message codes to be sent to it. Cannot update windows defender- the Microsoft help site is next to useless to find a solution. I don't have the time to wallow through a billion tech pages to guess at an answer

    Can't think of anything or any other steps to take. Can someone send me a link to a 'FIX IT FOR ME' application or something?

    None of the google searches on the fix worked for me. At this point could someone send me an hacked by-pass for the error to get past it. ?

    I'm afraid of my neck being wrapped in piano wire because of something I say or do online (intentionally or unintentionally)

    Are you sure Windows 11 is worth the risk?

    Would you risk your life on it ?

    There is no bypass. You need to upgrade to Windows 10 or 11

    This is a fact of computing life. Eventually your components and software are essentially a decade old and no longer supported.

    Windows 8 contains all the telemetry features you fear

    I ran the registry scan- didn't work, same error message.

    Must be someone who knows of a by-pass or a hack to pass this obstacle

    Do you have these games through Steam or the Windows store?

    I just checked the system requirements for both on Steam and both require windows 10

    this may have been a recent change to the games, as windows eight and below are no longer supported by Microsoft.

    In addition Steam itself will stop supporting anything below Windows 10 January 1
