D2 uninstalled by itelf after update

So i went to play destiny 2 today and realized it had a 77.6 MB update, so i thought OK ill download it. onc3 i tried to download and i went to games and apps it would say destiny 2 installing 0.0% with no MB/s or anything it did this for 15 minutes
so i power cycled my Xbox one and went back to play, next thing i know my entire destiny 2 game along with its data is gone completely and utterly.

any ideas why this may have happened?????

Have you tried to look if your pc needs a update?

i got it to work by uninstalled the games, then reinstalling them while the xbox was not connected to the internet, reconnected the internet after it was installed and then downloaded the updates

It can happen due to corrupted data in the console cache, so a power cycle is recommended for this type of issue. It's not recommended to cancel the updates, but to pause them, as some games install the client again and it may happen to see the game deleted
from the library.

ive unfortunately come across another problem >:|

it seems that while instally d2 back (using ethernet cable) anyway while reinstalling ive now completely downloaded the disc but the network is now stuck at 2.61 GB and there no mb/s stuff in the corner

the install has come to a standstill its been like this for 15 minutes now i have not opened destiny up or anything (although when i do it comes up with a 85% transfering game content) is this another problem i've encountered or is it a local problem???

 

Likely there are any corrupted data in a previous unfinished installation. The advice is to remove the previous installation, do a power cycle and re-install the game again. However, do a

network test to verify that there are no packet losses.

 

Now my Fortnite has uninstalled itself as well
