D-Pad problem - no hardware malfunction

Hello,

I'm playing Forza H3 since early release without having any problems. Since some days (all of a sudden) I cannot use d-pad for changing radio Station or access photo modus. Pressing left/right or long up does not do anything. I already tried to change controller
settings ingame without any impact on my Problem. The only command that is still working properly is pressing down d-pad for navigation support. I'm using two different controller and in both d-Pads commands are working fine out of Horizon 3 as they did
for weeks ingame. So there can't be a Hardware issue. I did not find any results on my issue in the Internet so far.

Would be great to get a hint how to solve this 'interesting' problem and make my d-pad working properly in H3.

I'm sorry to hear about the controller issues. If the D-Pad issues are happening consistently, it sounds as though your controller is in need of replacement.

Depending on where you live, most accessory warranties are 90 days. There are a couple countries in Europe where the warranty is one year - you can check on your country's Xbox
One warranty info page. If the controller is out of warranty, it is likely going to be easier to replace it rather than repair it outside of warranty.

Xbox One controller d-pad malfunction

Hi!

I bought both the windows wireless adapter and the new xbox one controller with battery pack (standard, not elite) last year.

Now my d-pad has started to malfunction. The problem is that it most of the time double- and some times even tripple-registers my presses. Doesn't matter how soft/hard i press. Sometimes it dosn't respond at all. Tried with both wireless fully charged and
with cable connection to pc.

The malfunction sadly makes it impossible for me to use it correctly. I've seen some DIY-methods of bending some metal ring but they say it isnt a permanent solution and i don't want to void any warranties.

Is there any way you could help me with this?

I really LOVE the xbox one controller otherwise and i think the wireless adapter is brillian!
