    D pad auto scrolls down and the joystick does not work


    Hi I have been having problems with my Xbox one. Whenever I turn it on the Xbox auto scrolls down and the joystick does not work when I control only the d pad. However the d pad auto scrolls it down and I’ve tried every method and nothing works.

    Hello noraanderer, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your controller.

    First, please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 30 seconds before trying again. If you're still having trouble with you turn the console back on try holding the sync buttons on both the console and the controller at the same time for a minimum of 60 seconds.

    If you have other controllers connected to the console please ensure they are turned off or disconnected.

    Xbox / Microsoft does not sell any component parts for the controllers. Only the removable tops for the joysticks and d-pad cover and the paddles too
