Cyberpunk Updates

Cyberpunk and actually the State of Decay 2 big update might make me take another look at it

There isn't any specific information regarding Cyberpunk and which platform it will be released on, but Xbox is working on making all Xbox One games work on Scarlett as stated in their E3 briefing, and so if Cyberpunk releases on Xbox One it should work
on Scarlett. If Cyberpunk launches on Scarlett then I doubt it will work on the current Xbox Ones (but I could be wrong, it may launch on both).

I imagine that any upgrades to the game will be free updates, to everyone, except for graphical ones which will also be free, but only available for the applicable system, so the X won't get 8K updates since it can't do 8K for example.

Best to wait until we get some more information on Cyberpunk and the platforms it will be launching on.

You could try uninstalling the game, then re-install it, that should then install the latest version of the game. If it doesn't work, then It might be better to post this issue you are having on the Cyberpunk forums here https://forums.cdprojektred.com/index.php?forums/cyberpunk.21/ That way the correct support can be given to you to help get the latest update.

Edit: having checked bit more online. The Xbox One version of the game will no longer get updates after 1.61. So you already have the latest update, and the last update for the Xbox One version of the game. To continue getting updates, you will need to install the game on an Xbox Series X.

I am playing the game on the “Xbox One S” and I purchased it at my local GameStop back in 2020 towards the end of the year.

If there are pending game updates, these should appear in My games & apps > Manage > Updates. It can sometimes take a moment to load. The system should automatically prompt you to install and apply an available update when launching any game (just like with software updates when you power on your console), though.

You can also check a specific game from the menu. Highlight (not select) Cyberpunk 2077 > Manage game & add-ons > Updates.
