    Cyberpunk 2077 Refund Issues


    I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 about a month ago expecting it to be as it was promoted. Sadly, the game is playable but sullies the incredible story thus i decided to try and get a refund and get it once again at a future date when its more up to standards.
    My request got denied due to me breaking the digital refund rules. About two days ago i got a message on my Xbox from Xbox themselves that if since the game was having so many issues, they'd make an exception for digital copies of the game so long as i responded
    to the email that told me whether or not I'd get a refund. I did so but ever since then I've gotten no response back nor confirmation that the refund is in process. I tried contacting Microsoft about it but I could never find a way to talk with someone. When
    i tried to refund again, it just says that Cyberpunk 2077 got denied and wouldn't let me try anything. My question is, is there anything I should do in order to get that refund or should I simple keep waiting and hope for the best? Thank you and have a good

    If you paid money for the pre-order of cyberpunk i would contact xbox or microsoft support for billing and purchases they will be able to look into it for you and peovide you with more concrete information and support.

    that being said, i am unsure if when you pre-order a game on xbox the money is taken out imediately or if the money is automatically taken out upon the games release. if the latter is the case this would explain why money hasnt gone back into your account.
    But do contact the support team for more information.
