    Cyberpunk 2077 Refund Issue


    I DIDNT KNOW CYBERPUNK COULD BECOME ANYMORE OF A PAIN TO MANAGE...

    I initially attempted a refund for Cyberpunk 2077 (before the expansion of the refund policy) and got denied a refund without getting the "decision email", even though I got the "refund request pending" email. After the refund policy expansion I got a message
    from the Xbox main account stating to either reply to the decision email to get the refund or reach out to Xbox support via support.xbox.com/contact us... Not only was I not sent a decision email, but the virtual assistant doesn't register the game as "refundable"
    because it's in a "denied status", and human tech support supposedly doesn't manage refunds. What do I do to complete the refund in this case?

    If you paid money for the pre-order of cyberpunk i would contact xbox or microsoft support for billing and purchases they will be able to look into it for you and peovide you with more concrete information and support.

    that being said, i am unsure if when you pre-order a game on xbox the money is taken out imediately or if the money is automatically taken out upon the games release. if the latter is the case this would explain why money hasnt gone back into your account.
    But do contact the support team for more information.
