    Ever other day i get made fun if on xbox because of my Gamertag and i dont see why a gamertag is. agermertag but there are people who act like its reall life my gamertag currently is Marine rec0n117. people make fun of me sayin "oh you'll never be a Marine"
    and "wanna be" ect. It really stinks i would really appreciate it you could help me out. thank you

    Harassing people online is considered cyber bullying which is an illegal offense.

    It is easy to fix set contact to friends only and block all communications with the said people and file a report

    There are no free Gamertag changes anymore. You get 1 chance to change it in the first 30 days. Like Ngocphi stated use the tools on your console to report and block these people. Otherwise you will need to pay 9.99 to have it changed.

    @Daft Badger He has called the help line and they permitted and instructed him to do this for his help. As for the other post with the same issue, there is nothing wrong with it being posted as the Xbox user is involved in the matter as the problem above
    stated. This issue involves multiple people which is why there is a similar post.

    As for me I am apart of this as support as I was in the party as ReclessFlamingo called the support line and attempted to assist him prior to the call.

    The best course of action is to just block and report the user causing the issue. If it persists, you can contact your local authorities, or reach
    out to a trusted adult locally to assist.

    Blocking the user will avoid any issues where they might try to report you for Terms of Service or Code of Conduct violations, and reporting the user will get those actions reviewed by the Enforcement Team, who are the only ones who can take action for instances
    like this, and they do not operate here on the forums, via Official Support, or on social media. Reporting users is the best thing you can do to help make and keep Xbox Live a safe and fun place for EVERYONE.
