Cutting corners during a endurance race.

I once fell asleep during an endurance race on Forza 3.

I enjoyed the Endurance races in Forza 3 but I think I would have enjoyed them more if it took more fuel consumption and tire wear into account. Having to pit only once during an Endurance race didn't really make it feel like a real Endurance race. Some
cautions and a better pit system would help too.

There are some spots on certain race tracks where Turn 10 made the surface act like glue, the max speed you can do in it is like five mile an hour.

the reason being that some people like to cut these corners, and I dont mean slightly cut it, I mean they go off the race track totally. So Turn 10 made it so that if you do try and cut the corner, your penalised.

I miss the endurance races, after all, endurance is the true test. Not that I want 24hr races like GT, because that's stupid in a game, but 100 lap races are cool

Endurance racing has never been "really good" in any version of Forza, and it's gotten progressively worse with each version. At least with FM1, you could choose from different tire brands which had different wear rates and grip levels...though you couldn't
change tire brands/compounds during the race, which is arguably the most important aspect of real endurance racing. FM2 did away with various tire branding altogether, but you still at least needed to use the pits. With FM3, for all but the higher-level
endurance races (R3 and above), you could easily finish the entire race without needing to pit for tires or fuel
at all...which, needless to say, is completely ridiculous.

With that in mind, it's disappointing but not terribly surprising that they decided to just give up and remove it from the game entirely.
