    Are you using Xbox og s X and the consoles cables to connect to TV?

    Sounds like your TV ratio isnt set corretly. If you go into your tv settings then look for picture settings you should see a menu that will let you choose something like 16:9 4:3 Zoom Wide Screen Fit too screen. The exact wording and options will depend
    on the TV but you should try all the option see what one works best.

    Do you have any other devices plugged in via HDMI on the TV that work properly? If so, have you tried plugging the xbox into that port and see if the problem persists? If so, have you performed a console reset to set it back to default settings?
