    Cut Scenes: Heavy Stutter on PC


    The game runs really well on my GTX 970 with everything on Ultra or Very High, but the first cut scene where Joule enters the Crawler for the first time and inserts the first prismatic core, it stutters like crazy! I tried many different settings last in
    night, including downgrading resolution to 1280x720 and Quality Preset to LOW and everything else to LOW. Restarted the game, went back to my save (it triggers the cut scene in question) and it still stutters like crazy. Basically as soon as Joule pulls out
    the prismatic core, it's like a slide show. This does not seem to be related at all to the graphics and resolution settings as it is the same stutter for me even on 1920x1080 and Ultra preset. Is it just this one cut scene or will they all play like that?
    And what might be causing this?

    I'd like to add that I also own an original Xbox One and that I actually played the first hour of the game on it instead of PC, but the cut scene(s) actually run very smooth on the Xbox One. That's so ridiculous. Oh, I also tried to limit my Frame Rate to
    30fps because I thought maybe there's something going on with that setting, the cut scene still stutters on the PC version. Anyone else having issues with only the cut scenes on PC?

    My specs are:

    Windows 10

    AMD FX-8320 CPU

    EVGA nVidia GTX 970 FTW

    8GB DDR3-1600 RAM

    2TB WD HD

    sound cutting out in single player

    hi when i play story mode and watch the cut scenes the sound always seems to cut out and stutter go silent does this happen to anyone else

    Star Wars unleashed...

    Word of advise I played Unleashed 2 last night and it has some major graphic and loading stutters. The game is fun but during cut scenes it is a complete disaster.

    Thank you for your response.

    I did the following test with gears 5 (Act 1 Chapter 2 beginning:)

    1. Wired connection my Xbox One Elite Controller (1st gen) into Xbox. Audio stutter in game cut scene does not occur

    2. Wired connection Xbox Series Controller into Xbox. Audio stutter in game cut scene does not occur

    3. Wireless connection Xbox Series Controller into Xbox. Audio stutter happens. However, by moving the joystick (i.e. making it response and not being idle), the audio stutter stops and works normally until controller is left idle for like 10 sec (based on my rough calculation), the stutters comes back.

    As such, the response provided by you matches against my issue.

    The in-game cut scene i tested so far with this issue was:

    1. Gears 5

    2. Star Wars Fallen Order

    Therefore, is there a way to file the report to Microsoft so that a firmware patch can be put through to fix this? I don't want other people who bought this headphone for in-game experience to be ruin by this.

    Again, thank you so much for the help. At least there is a temporary work around for the time being instead of needing to sent for a replacement.

    Hello!

    I also had some issues with the game, mainly cut scenes having massive stutters and sound un syncing. I uninstalled then reinstalled the game and did a Hard restart of my system and that fixed it right up!

    Give that a try!
