    Customized XBOX 1 Controller Disconnection


    I purchased a customized Controller for my XBOX 1 and it is constantly losing it's connection to my XBOX.

    I don't have the problem with my original controller but this one keeps losing it's connection. I have to remove the batteries and replace them to get it to access my system but that only lasts a few minutes. They are new batteries.

    Any ideas about what might be going on or did I receive a defective controller?

    Customized Xbox controller help?

    Where did the controller come from? Your controller was taken apart by a third party to give it that new cosmetic appearance. They may have crossed or detached an important wire on the controllers circuit board.

    Right Joy Stick Stopped Working on All My Controllers

    I did update the controller firmware and it had no effect. I ended up calling customer support and this guy said he's never seen a problem like this but he had me clear the system cache by disconnecting all wires info the Xbox 1 and hold down on the power
    button for 2 mins, after this all my controllers work fine. Thanks

    Did they recommend a power cycle or a soft factory rest? Without knowing what troubleshooting steps they advised it can be hard to give new advice.

    you could try re-syncing your controller with the button above the xbox logo on the controller and below the xbox logo on the console
