    customer service is absolutely disgusting


    trying to get issues resolved is near to impossible. having spoke with to reps on the phone and one their supervisors, i was directed to inaccessible websites/ forums and they were NO help whatsoever. further
    more if i call from the U.S for customer support i expect to have someone who can clearly speak english assist me, and do just that, actually assist me. when i finally figured out how to get to the correct place for forums, lets just say that these forums
    are some of the worst i have seen, further more having to be directed to forums for assistance is absolutely laughable (reallY!? i'm on the phone with cust. support aren't i, yet you tell me to go to forums for cust. support). it has now been 3 days since
    i made a post requesting assistance and have yet to be answered. XBL need to get their stuff together. after all of this, having purchased 2 xbox systems, 20+ games,referring friends to purchase, and being a loyal customer for 6+ years and not being to get
    any assistance. i will not support this company any longer, my next console purchase will be to the competitors, and i will sway others away from XBL. you lack the fundamentals of a genuine company that cares for their customers.

    I appreciate that Microsoft dont want to send out units willy-nilly to every tom, *** and harry who are after a free console, but for them not even to consider my faulty console to be sent FIRST before I receive anything is beyond me, surely this is proof
    enough that im not a scammer, its like "nope, give me £400 or im not doing anything", when my 360 pranged on me all I had to do was call them wait for the delivery, then hand over my faulty unit at the same time as recieving the new one, why this sudden change
    on returns policy, then again its not the first time.

    As regards to handing it back to the retailer, I work for the retailer and I know for a fact that stock between now and the new year is going to be non existent, so I can kiss getting an instant replacement goodbye, then again there could be a massive surge
    of stock be for then.....i think not.

    This is not at all unusual. Companies aren't in the habit of sending out expensive hardware without some sort of guarantee you'll send it back. And you have nothing to worry about if it was to get lost or something. The products are tracked and since
    its on a credit card, you could always dispute it.

    Having read other topics though, it seems like others were given the option to ship theirs back. Might want to try and speak to a different rep. In addition, you may look at bringing it back to where you bought it - stores are likely going to have stock
    soon.

    I experienced the same results, but unfortunately instead of being from Xbox it was from Sony so yea depends on the situation. It was the whole reason I left them and decided to return to xbox. Sorry for your inconvenience with customer service that can
    be a pain in the butt after all that hassle.

    The same is happening to me. It has got to the point where I need to repair 3 controllers, can’t play on my console and Microsoft are unreachable. This is absolutely disgusting customer service from a huge corporation.

    Me too, good days, too bad we're in a ''all technology will eventually fuse to form one Media Centre'' time now, much like how having an M.P.3-/M.P.4-Player, Cell.-Phone, Camera, Computer and many other things have all integrated into modern smart-phones,
    the Xbox One is the premise of what has yet to come, it had so much potential with T.V. D.V.R. streaming to your P.C. and Windows Phone, but I guess the Xbox One ISN'T THE FUTURE then. :-(
