    Ive had my xbox one maybe two weeks now and the Kinect stopped working a few days ago. Did a little research and it seems this is a fairly common problem and pretty easy to replace. Got on chat with a customer service representative and after waiting 10
    minutes for them to answer was told that I needed to call in to speak to a customer service rep. After another wait I explained my situation to the lady and was told that I should have expected problems with a new console. She went on to tell me that you should
    never buy a brand new system because you a basically a beta tester for the company. Only after the 1st year is it safe to buy a new system. Ok. She also told me that if I have it plugged into a power strip that I most likely caused the problem because the
    unit was getting insufficient power…anybody else ever heard of this? I don't have it plugged into a power strip but if thats the case shouldn't it mention that in the paperwork that comes with the unit…or did I miss it? There is a microsoft store 20 minutes
    from my house, I asked if I could exchange the kinect sensor there…..nope can't do that because I bought it from amazon. My only option is to replace through the mail. She offered me advance replacement which I had no issue with until she told me I would have
    to pay 10 bucks for "expedited shipping". So let me get this straight…..I bought a $500 console that has known issues with the kinect sensor not powering on. I can replace it for free (how nice of you) but if I want it replaced same day its not an option because
    I didn't buy it from a microsoft retail store. If I want to wait 10 days its totally free but requires me to get a box, pack it and go find a fedex store and take up more of my time. BUT if I want to pay you 10 bucks and let you place a hold on my credit card
    you'll do the right thing a send me a working unit and I can send the broken one back to you. Microsoft you are a joke. Do you really train your customer service reps to tell people that you shoulnt buy our products for at least a year until we get the kinks
    worked out? Do you really expect me to pay you even more money to do the right thing?

    Is there anyway to make contact with XBox live, just that I need to ask them a question but do not know how to, sorry I can not help you with your problem, only just joinned myself.

    yes trying to access it on the same xbox. but purchased it on the free account. becuase thats where the wife put the ms points for rockband stuff.

    Slinky: Hey, I'm sorry, but I guess I overlooked your initial post. So I just want to clarify that you purchased the game on your UK Free account, and are now trying to play it on your Canadian LIVE account, correct? This is most likely the
    problem; I'm sorry that you were provided bad information from phone support.

    All of the CoD add-ons are very region strict, and should be purchased on the account that matches the physical region of the account and disc. Again, I'm very sorry for the confusion. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

    Hey there slinky! Just so we're on the same page, you downloaded a map pack on a different free account than this one, and now you cannot play with this account, correct? Are you trying to access it on the same console that it was originally purchased on?
    If not, you should do a license transfer on our site with the free account (http://xbox.com/drm). Does this sound like it might help you out? Let me know, thanks!
