    I have been using the Xbox ecosystem for 3 years and recently had my main payment methods (credit card/paypal) blocked by Microsoft's security sector. According to them, it is a security lock due to suspicious activity. "What suspicious activity?" you ask me... I don't know! They didn't tell me anything! They didn't send me 1 email. They simply blocked my purchase methods out of nowhere! The security department didn't even contact me to justify the blockade! They didn't even give me the option of talking to a superior!

    It is the second time this blockage has occurred. In the first one, the attendants explained to me that this action was a standard procedure for maintaining security on the platform and that in 24 hours my purchase options would return to normal. On that occasion, it really all worked out afterwards. This time, it seems that the block is permanent, as it's been 1 week since I can't buy anything. They didn't even make a point of informing me if there is any duration of this block!

    Regarding your issue, I would highly recommend getting in touch with the support again, since they're the only ones that can give you updates about your status!

    I am having similar problem here. I have taken to the next step by contacting the Microsoft Customer Service Support. First they claimed that they had problem processing the payment via PayPal and requested me to add a credit card to the account, which I
    could not comprehend why. I added the credit card to my account anyway but till now, I am still not able to complete the purchase. Does anybody know how can I escalate this issue so that it gets appropriate attention?

    It's certainly my experience that every time I download anything on Xbox I receive an e-mail telling me that something has been downloaded - even the free apps do that. I'm actually a bit stunned that your bank allowed this as well, I would certainly
    be expecting them to clamp down in the region of 10 transactions let alone 350+ in 3 days! There's a logistics part of this which is where it will have to be investigated, that's where they are just now & if it's found that the transactions are suspect then
    a refund WILL be issued, but that's going to take time, 351 transactions have to be checked in full. Doesn't matter what console or platform you're on that's going to be the case, a word of warning though, some other platforms have been known to ban accounts
    & consoles for receiving CC refunds rather than going through their own process!

    351 charges is a lot to sift through. I've done audits with more than 40 items on it solo and let me tell you it takes time to go through that many items. Give them some time and hopefully they'll be able to resolve the issue.

    In the meantime I would most definitely go about changing your password at the very least, if you haven't done so already.
