    Custom Wallpaper/Background no longer shows.....


    I had a screenshot that I loved and used it as my custom background. As of a day or two ago all it is now is a solid grey background. I tried removing the background and setting it back, changing the colors, but nothing seems to get the background to stay
    and just gives me a grey background.

    Signed in and out, restarted the console a few times (as well as power cycle for who knows what in case because why not). If I keep the background off, I get the last game played on the background. But I'd rather have my custom work if possible.

    Anything I didn't try to fix the issue or has anyone else had this?

    I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to help you. You mentioned about having tried the power cycle method, but a hard reset involves disconnecting and reconnecting all of the cords also. Additionally, you could try and do a factory reset on your console, but it
    will erase all accounts, saved games, settings, and Xbox associations. If the issue persists, I would recommend contacting Xbox Support for additional help with your issue.

    Have you tried doing a hard reset? When your console is turned on, hold down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, unplug all of the cords that are plugged into the console, plug them all back in, and turn the console back on. This reboot
    fixes many common issues. Let us know if this helps!

    Hmm... you know what else its missing? A soundtrack in the background, something similar to the PlayStation 4 dashboard.

    But Xbox can do better by perhaps having us customize our own wallpaper *AND* background music? OR even better?

    By "custom background" I mean just wallpapers uploaded the PC. It's not just those but, most of the other downloaded themes for Xbox Live are obstructed by this "fog".

    Please tell me that next update will allow you to remove it.
