    Heyo

    I have been trying to change my profile picture for almost a week and it wont let me upload a custom one Custom profile picture :(

    Ive been using custom ones for like 2 years and i know they arent inappropriate so i didnt get banned. I also tried redownloading the xbox app, using my computer to try, and even using the one drive on my xbox and it keeps saying my picture cannot be changed.

    My friends are having the same issues... so is it a bug or can you no longer have custom profile pictures?

    Hello ,

    Thank you for keeping us updated on the situation. Is the account that is trying to use a custom profile picture a child account or adult account? Be sure to let us know the results!
    It is an adult account. Reputation is completely fine too, so still not sure what's going on. Contacted support even more times and still nothing.

    This has been going on for about two weeks now. I attempted what you said. I contacted them through live chat and phone. Live chat went through with me on uploading photos from the Xbox, Phone, and PC apps. Still nothing has changed.

    The phone support told me that it could be an issue with being an Xbox Insider member. I posted on the subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/comments/9iwsf8/custom_gamerpic_verification_taking_forever/

    Xbox Insider: " this doesn't appear to be an Xbox Insider issue."

    So now I left with going back in circles to figure out what this problem is.

    Microsoft has temporarily disabled custom picture uploads for Xbox Live, including gamerpics and club images, to help it "streamline moderation"
    and support the community -- in other words, to help its staff keep up with a surge in demand from people staying at home.
